The Pastificio in Castiglion Fiorentino in the top 100 of Il Sole 24 Ore
Il Sole 24 Ore, in collaboration with the international firm Statista, has published the ranking of Export Champions for 2022.
This initiative is an absolute first at an international level; 9.000 firms have been analyzed with the goal of identifying the main Italian exporting companies.
An award designed to highlight the positive performance of the various industrial sectors in Italy, achieved despite the Covid19 pandemic and its devastating effects on the global economy.
With more than 73% of exports in 2020, Pastificio Fabianelli classified as 84th in the ranking: today, the pasta factory reaches a production capacity that exceeds 1,200 quintals per day, exporting production to 70 countries around the world.
“An extraordinary result and of great pride for the company” comments Luca Fabianelli, CEO of the company. “For some time now we have oriented our strategies towards exports, strongly believing in the superiority of Made in Italy and also focusing our efforts on sustainability which is acquiring an increasingly fundamental role in our production chain, from farm to fork”.
An example of this is Pasta Toscana, the brand that most embodies the authentic essence of the territory and of the Pastificio itself. Made from a selection of the best 100% Tuscan durum wheat, traceable thanks to a QR-code, and packaged in 100% recyclable paper packs, Pasta Toscana is a guarantee of quality and a starting point for a certified and sustainable short supply chain entirely developed within the region.
